Life itself is only a vision – a dream…RSS
I’m just posting a quick list of my important tips that you can use to improve your small business.
Listen to others
The usual marketing tactics and most books center on making your business more interesting. I also post about this from time to time on here. The thing with thinking too much on them, however, is that you are missing out on other opportunities or highly valuable conversations that direct you toward leads. So try to take the time to listen to other people that you often meet and ask questions instead of talking about yourself. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll find.
Triple your questions
This is just a way of saying that you need to ask three times as much about your business and where’s it going instead of wasting time creating mission statements or bold declarations without the proper backing. When you ask three times as much, you bombard your subconscious mind with things you must actually do right now and what the obstacles might be. It’s a critical step towards accomplishing your dreams.
Turn off your gadgets
When you think to yourself, turn off your gadgets, so you’re not distracted while you’re checking your HTC Evo or iPhone. I know putting your toys away and staying disconnected is difficult, but if you can pull it off, you create time to think about your business and what you could be doing about it. This is also a great way to brew those once-in-a-lifetime thoughts that are hiding inside of your mind – and it should be the most important part of your week.
Jot down a NOT-to-do list
The majority of us have a to do list, but do you ever think about how many of us have the inverse of it? This is what I suggest: prioritize by thinking deeply about the stuff that’s wasting your time, what stops you from doing what needs to be done.
Read, read, read
I try to read at least 100 books every year. This helps me tremendously as I expand my awareness beyond the universe of reality and think about the unseen. It gives me a sense of being and what is actually going on, as well as thoughts that I can apply to my everyday life and for the businesses I work with. The same process will work for you and your business, if you let it.
Keep it efficient
Plenty of small business owners try to get big and do too much at once. If you already know your limits, then focus on the things that force you to push it even more. When you exploit this mental hack, you have something that you build millions from. Without this trick, you lose a lifetime.
